FinnTech is my freelance web development practice. I build custom websites, web apps and backend integrations for clients who need something more tailored than an off-the-shelf template, whether that is a quick marketing site, a bespoke web app, or wiring existing tools like Shopify, Stripe and third-party APIs together. I work across TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, PHP and Python, and take on everything from small fixes through to full builds. Recent work includes a Shopify and PHP integration for a Wellington retail client. Alongside FinnTech I work in cyber compliance software, so I bring a strong focus on building things that are secure, maintainable and made to last
