With 26 years relevant work experience in the 'real world', Marion has an extensive employment history, which includes working with high level corporations, such as Qualcare Holdings Ltd (now Oceania Healthcare) - retirement industry; Excell Corporation - infrastructure maintenance; Land Rover New Zealand - prestige motor vehicle industry; and Bayleys Real Estate - commercial sector.
Plus 14 years in the Travel Industry, working mostly as a Senior Corporate Consultant for Lion World Travel, Thomas Cook and AA Travel; including three years as a supervisor for Air New Zealand’s frequent flyer programme, AirPoints; and VIP concierge/customer service experience whilst working as ground crew at Auckland International Airport for Continental Airlines Business First passengers.
Experienced in marketing, branding and website creation, Marion also loves anything to do with interior design and has completed a Diploma of Professional Interior Design with The Interior Design Academy.
Specialities: My Virtual Assistant was launched on 13 March 2009 and as the years have gone by the focus has shifted slightly, with customer demand requiring more affordable websites for start-ups and small to medium sized businesses.
Over the years the promise of friendly, reliable customer service has never wavered and neither has the importance of providing reliable business support, not just for websites.
Services include (but are not limited to): Online Newsletters, Layout and Design of brochures, flyers and advertisements, Blogging assistance, Editing and Proofreading, Word Processing, Social Media, Website Creation and Website Management. My Virtual Assistant has also been known to design the occasional logo for start-up businesses on a budget; photography on request (used on websites and brochures for two large NZ real estate companies and a retirement company); and Copywriting on request (for websites and various printed matter).
I'm looking for: In addition to creating affordable websites, My Virtual Assistant provides ‘as needed’ business support for small to medium-sized business owners, start-ups and entrepreneurs who don’t require a full-time, in-house team member.
