Hey there, I'm Amanda! I'm a storyteller, strategist and mentor with a passion for helping businesses share their stories. My career spans over a decade of PR, communications and journalism for some of New Zealand's higher profile companies.
I established my business, Publicity Studio to give all Kiwi businesses - no matter their size, access to PR services, training, support, resources and opportunities. I appreciate that small businesses don't always have huge budgets to throw at marketing - but what they do have is an incredible opportunity for PR. They're creative, hardworking and full of wonderful stories - which really is a PR dream.
With the ever-evolving media landscape, I've revolutionised and streamlined how PR services are offered, so that Kiwi businesses can have their stories seen and heard by all the right people. I understand that each business is unique, so I tailor my supportive approach accordingly to provide maximum value.
I've been growing businesses, brands and reputations through strategic PR, communications and marketing for over a decade.
I began my career as a journalist with NZME before transitioning into public relations where I managed campaigns for bespoke Kiwi brands at an award winning PR agency. I've most recently worked in senior positions across the public and private sector, including projects with companies such as New Zealand Post, Federated Farmers, Contact Energy and The Department of Internal Affairs.
My degree in Communications, Post-Graduate Business qualification and expertise in corporate communications means I have the ability to approach communications issues from a strategic business perspective and give my clients reputations a serious edge in a competitive industry.
